Phillip found these funky little head shaped wall vases at the Goodwill in Orcutt:
We found this big-eyed Chihuahua statue at a little shop on the way to Solvang on Sunday. I think it's just kitschy enough to be cool.
We picked up these two dog statues at an estate sale we went to on Saturday morning. The two scottie dogs are an advertising figurine for Black and White whiskey.
I picked up all of these books at the estate sale too. The baby book is full of crochet patterns for baby clothes- maybe I'll make them someday when I learn to crochet! I was in Camp Fire when I was younger, so I was excited to find this adorable vintage Camp Fire supply catalog! I might frame it. The other two are vintage craft and crochet books too.
This book, "The How-To of Hairstyles" was 50 cents!. It's full of super-sixties hairstyles, some cute and some not so much. I'll try to post some of the pages soon!
We came across this newspaper sheet at Family Thrift. It has this mountie comic on one side and the Babe Ruth ad on the other.
And last but not least, here's this creepy preserved pirhana we found at the Goodwill. Despite its weirdness Phillip already sold it on Ebay!
That's all for this week, thanks for stopping by! As usual, I'll be linking up at: Apron Thrift Girl, A Living Space, Sir Thrift A Lot, Remnant, and Joyful Treasure Hunting. Head on over and check out everyone's finds for this week!
PS: I found out today that I made it through Round 3 of the Super Online Sewing Match! All of the entries were amazing and I was VERY nervous about making it through this round, so I'm pretty stoked that I actually made it. The next project is the Negroni shirt by Colette Patterns. Looks like Phillip will be getting a new shirt!
